New developments from Jurong to Changi are changing the property-shopping scene

Also known as: Central D1-15, 21 (including Little India, Toa Payoh and Orchard).
Synonymous with: Lifestyle spots such as the Orchard Road shopping district, Marina Bay Sands and the Central Business District; schools including St Joseph’s Institution Junior, St Margaret’s Primary School and School of the Arts Singapore; housing developments like Duo Residences and Concourse Skyline.
Accessible via: North South Line (NSL), East West Line (EWL), Circle Line (CCL), Downtown Line (DTL) and North East Line (NEL) stations; Central Expressway (CTE), Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).
Coming up: Kampong Bugis, a 17ha site along the Kallang and Rochor rivers. The car-lite precinct will feature 4,000 new flats connected by walkways and bicycle paths. A new underpass and footbridge across Crawford Street will link you to the Lavender and Kallang MRT stations.The existing Kallang Riverside Park will also be transformed into a waterfront park.
Future developments in the Central area include Marina South (a mixed-use residential district with 9,000 new homes, a 800m pedestrianised street and an underground mall) and Bayshore (a waterfront urban village connected directly to East Coast Parkway).

Coming up: Opening early next year, Jewel Changi Airport is a 10-storey complex with 300 food and beverage and retail outlets, connecting all three Changi Airport terminals via air-conditioned walkways.
It will house a 40m-high indoor waterfall, a five-storey garden with thousands of exotic plants and walking and bouncing sky nets for visitors to walk 25m above ground.

Synonymous with: Lifestyle spots such as Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Jurong East shopping malls (Jem, IMM, Westgate, JCube, Big Box); schools including New Town Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic and Nanyang Technological University; housing developments like The Lakefront Residences and Twin Vew.
Coming up: Jurong Lake District, Singapore's second CBD located near the future Tuas Port. It is expected to have 20,000 new homes, the Jurong Region Line (Singapore's seventh MRT line) and lush greenery.
Jurong Lake Gardens is also a major new project transforming Jurong Lake and the Chinese and Japanese Gardens into Singapore’s third national gardens — the first in the heartlands. With its first phase opening next year, it will feature 90ha of green spaces including an aquatic garden and a nature-themed play area.

Coming up: The Punggol Digital District, transforming the North-east into a hub of technological innovation, creating up to 28,000 new tech-related jobs To be completed by 2023, it will feature car-lite roads and the new Punggol Coast MRT station (also opening in 2023) that will make it even easier to commute to the city.

Coming up: By 2024, Woodlands residents will be able to travel to Johor Bahru even more quickly via the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link , which connects to the new MRT station in Woodlands North (opening next year). This improved connectivity is part of Woodlands’ transformation into the “Star Destination of the North”, an initiative that includes 10,000 new HDB units and the enhancement of the Woodlands Regional Centre.
